We loved this campground. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We camped here for the ATV trail access. The campground is a bit back in the woods, but it's nice and quiet. There is a swimming area, but it was so cold this week we didn't use it. Even though there isn't cable hook-up, we got great TV reception. Wi-fi was there, but intermittent. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We'll definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

We stayed here one night. We would have stayed longer, but we were just there to try out the ATV trails. The campground is clean, with full service hook ups. We weren't too impressed with the ATV trails, so we probably wouldn't stay there again.

We didn't actually stay here. I sent in a deposit check, which was cashed. When we got there at approx.2:00 in the afternoon, there wasn't ANYONE around to check us in. I knocked on the door, rang the bell and waited. The dogs were barking, there were cars in the driveway, but no one answered the door. There wasn't any sign on the door indicating that the owners would be back or were taking a nap or pick a site and register later, NOTHING. I tried calling the number, NO ANSWER. We drove through the campground, which was very small, and stopped at the "recreation" room. Went inside to find someone, no one was there. The room was smelly, dirty and looked liked no one had used it in 30 years. The campground itself looked run down and poorly taken care of. We made reservations here so we could go 4-wheeling on the trail system in Iron County. Needless to say, we left there and spent the next several hours looking for another campground.

This campground is very small and right next to a fairly busy road that ends at Lake Superior. We stayed here because the campground that we had reservations at (Loon Lagoon Campground) was uninviting. The owners are just starting up this campground and are very friendly and helpful. No showers, or restrooms, except for the bathrooms in the bar on the grounds. We wouldn't stay here again, simply for the fact that it's right on a fairly busy road.

This campground was OK. You need to check in off the site, so there isn't any on-site management. There seemed to be some confusion as to site assignments. One group of campers was assigned to a seasonal site?! They have karaoke on Saturday nights, and if you don't want to listen to it, too bad for you!! They have the seasonal and the overnight campers mixed together. The campground is VERY NEAR the freeway. We heard sirens through out the night. Good place if you're ATVing.

One of the best campgrounds we've stayed in. Grounds were immaculate, service was excellent. Shuttle to casino was dependable. Sites are a little close. We would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

We liked this park for the ATV access to the trails. It's located right next to the Hole In The Wall Casino. The grounds are run down, but if you get a site on the river, the view is awesome. I believe they are under a management restructure, so there isn't any management on-site. You have to check in at the casino, which is very cumbersome. Also, if you have any problems, you have to trek up to the casino to get any resolution.

This is a nice park. We went here to use the ATV recreational area that is up in Gilbert. The manager "Rusty", is a well informed and friendly guy. There were tornado warnings the night we stayed and the local sheriff came around to each site to let people know they were going to open up the library for shelter. The park is kind of located right in Gilbert, but it's off the beaten path, so you don't notice you're right in town. Our site was absolutely the best site, with an unobstructed view of Lake Ore-Be-Gone. Listened to the loons at night. We used the park for the ATV access, but they've turned the Lake into a diver's type lake. They've cleaned and sunk numerous items (helicopter, tug boat, etc) for divers to explore. Not a lot to do in town, but Virginia (Virginia, Minnesota) is just a short trip down the road. Beautiful area and we would stay there again.
